WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE OF OXIDATIVE STRESS IN BRAIN DISEASES AND OTHER ORGANS?

During normal cell metabolism there is the production of free radicals that may be toxic to the brain cells if out of control. The cells have the genetic capacity to counterattack the toxic substances regenerated by the oxidative stress generated by excessive free radicals.


When the toxic substances generated by free radicals can not be controlled the end results are diseases that become chronic and acceleration of the aging process.

Normally there are check and balances in cell biology. As we grow older the capacity to neutralize the toxic effect of those free radical’s molecule start diminishing making us vulnerable to many chronic diseases.


Scientific research is showing that diseases like Alzheimer’s, Diabetes, Parkinson’s, Migraine headaches, MS, Cancer, Obesity, and Aging among others, that most of them have to do with poor control of the oxidative stress due to cell malfunctioning after they are damage by the process of biological oxidation.


The nutrients that we eat including fruits, salads, vitamins, and minerals offer little protection to significantly prevent the excessive oxidative process and health restoration.


New scientific insight, into the nature of this altered biological process, disease inducers, have discovered the genetic mechanism involved in the failing functions in our own system and is now, after many years of well documented scientific research by talented investigators of prestigious Universities here in the US and abroad, are in command of ways for enhancing the functions of those genes involve in the process of antioxidation, for the purpose of restoring health and slowing aging
